Events
We regret to inform you but at this time we have decided to postpone all FWAG SW organised membership meetings and other events until the end of April, at which time we will review our policy. In line with the government advice we believe that cancelling all non-essential group events is the most sensible option at this time.

Farm visits
Where you have a visit already arranged with one of our advisers on your farm, the adviser will contact you prior to your meeting to discuss how we can make other arrangements to complete the visit without meeting you face-to-face, and this can be followed up with a telephone call and/or an email. You will be asked to confirm that you or other people on the farm have not had exposure to Coronavirus in the past 14 days. We will follow the current government guidance and ensure that we keep social contact to a minimum on our visit.

If you have a meeting arranged and are concerned about the visit, or concerned that you may have been exposed to Coronavirus, please get in touch with us and we will gladly arrange for your meeting to take place at a later date.

Countryside Stewardship advice and applications
At this stage we believe we can deliver advice on applying for Countryside Stewardship, or make applications on your behalf, through a combination of visiting your farm, with your permission but without you being at the meeting and by using telephone and email to communicate with you about your application.

The guidance above is in place until further notice. We understand that the news is fast changing, and we will constantly review this policy.
