A practical workshop looking at the benefits and practicalities of including legume and herbrich swards in a commercial beef and sheep farming system.

Topics will include species choice, establishment methods, cutting vs grazing, digestability, yield, environmental benefits and opportunities / requirements of environmental schemes. The event will include a visit to herbal ley trial fields established in autumn 2017
