Sheep Farming under the Sustainable Farming Incentive
With thanks to Jane Barber and Simon Kemp.

The National Sheep Association and Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group invite you to join us at Lovaton Farm, Okehampton to discuss the upcoming Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI).

SFI will be one of the first components of the new Environmental Land Management (ELM) schemes to be rolled out by the government as we transition away from BPS, and they have announced that the first round will be available to all BPS applicants in 2022. We hope that this farm visit will help to provide you with a more practical understanding of the scheme as it currently stands and how livestock farmers may be able to make the most of what will likely become a key element of payment for public goods in the coming years.

On the day short presentations will outline the the SFI and how it can benefit your farm and farm income, followed by a farm walk to illustrate how it can be implemented.
