News and blog News stories [06.09.18] The Headwaters of the Stour Project FWAG SW are working with partners at DWT, CSF and the EA to improve the water environment in the River Stour catchment. The Headwaters of The Stour project aims to improve water quality, reduce flood risk, increase bio-diversity and improve farming efficiency. FWAG SW advisors will be working with farmers on a one-to-one basis to identify opportunities that have the greatest potential to bring about these wide ranging benefits. The project works on the principle that changes at the top of the catchment have the greatest potential to improve the water environment across the whole catchment. If you farm or manage land in the catchment and would like more information please contact us on 01823 660684.
