We are seeking applicants for a full-time, one-year contract for the post of Assistant Farm Conservation Adviser, based from home for 4 days per week and based in our offices in Wellington, Somerset for one day per week. It is hoped that after the year further funding will be available to extend this post for a further year, but this is not guaranteed.

This post will combine assisting in the delivery of the Woods 4 Water Project, delivery of Countryside Stewardship applications, woodland advice and other advice to deliver the charitable aims and objectives of FWAG SW.

You will also be assisting the FWAG SW team, our East Devon Senior Farm Conservation Adviser and partner organisations to bring together groups of farmers to deliver training under Countryside Stewardship Facilitation Fund group events

We are seeking an enthusiastic team member who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge whilst working with East Devon’s farmers to deliver environmental objectives within their businesses.
