FWAG SW are seeking someone with a passion for farming and the environment to work with the FWAG SW team to manage and deliver a range of projects, improving water quality and delivering natural flood management measures in the Somerset Frome and other catchments. These projects are part of FWAG SW’s successful Hills to Levels delivery of projects to reduce flood risk and diffuse water pollution across Somerset. In particular, the post will manage and deliver a flood risk reduction project, implementing Natural Flood Management approaches and working with local partners, landowners and contractors.

With growing demand for services providing advice to farmers on agroecological practices, we are looking for applicants who can bring their own specialisms and experience to strengthen our team. We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds within the sector, whether that is environment, soils, nutrients, farm infrastructure, or farm management.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,500 per annum, depending on experience
