We are seeking applicants for the post of Farm Environment Adviser to join the Gloucestershire team. Working as part of a team of Advisers, you will provide advice in a whole-farm context considering habitat and species conservation, diffuse pollution mitigation, soil management, nutrient management, compliance to legislation and regulation, protection of archaeological features and landscape value – all as part of a profitable farm business.

The post will include the delivery of high-quality environmental advice to farmers through 1:1 farm visits, reports, events and workshops as well as the preparation of reports and news articles for FWAG farmer members. As well as providing advice, the successful applicant will contribute to the delivery and outputs of existing projects, where appropriate, project management, partnership working and the development of new projects, with support from managers and colleagues. We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds within the sector, whether that is environment and wildlife, soils, nutrients, farm infrastructure, farm management, cropping, livestock, or Integrated Pest Management. This is your opportunity to join a growing team of enthusiastic and skilled advisers.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,500 per annum depending on experience (Full Time)
