A merry lad!

When he thinks ‘Good!’

It comes out ‘Bad!’

 

The poor Mouse cries:

‘Please let me go!’

And Owl thinks ‘Yes’

But it comes out ‘No!’

HO HO! HO HO!

HO HO! HO HO!

 

‘O rest your head,

You silly fellow,

Upon this lovely
