Through the Hills to Levels project, FWAG South West and the University of Bristol worked together to investigate a range of Natural Flood Management (NFM) schemes. These information sheet summarise findings from the PhD completed by Tamsin Lockwood, titled: Quantifying the efficacy of Natural Flood Management in agricultural headwater catchments”. This thesis presents case study examples that have analysed the impact of NFM measures in response to rainfall. This information is crucial for the future of modelling applications and will be used to provide design and management recommendations for future NFM applications.
